EaseEase custom French Return Curtain Rod is a heavy-duty aluminum rod whose ends curve back to the wall, wrapping blackout curtains toward the wall to help close side light gaps. Ideal for bedrooms, especially when the bed is positioned directly beside or between windows.
Unlike standard curtain rods, this wrap around design helps eliminate side light gaps, creating a darker and more comfortable sleeping environment while adding a clean, tailored appearance. Crafted from heavy-duty aluminum, this french return curtain rod is built to support heavyweight curtains including linen, blackout drapes, and layered panels without sagging.

To prevent sagging in middle over time
We recommend a custom sliding rod or curtain rail, as they don’t depend on where the wall studs are. Adjustable rods require studs at both ends and in the middle.

Make sure runners match your curtain
We recommend a pleated header, as it allows height adjustment to stay level with uneven floors (very common)—something other headers can’t do.

Smooth gliding, even in sections
We don’t recommend placing brackets right at the joint; leave some distance before adding them to keep the joint level, which is essential for smooth operation.
