Do not install woven natural shades in bathrooms, kitchens, or laundry rooms. For moisture-heavy rooms, choose Solar Shades (waterproof solar fabric) or 1" Waterproof Honeycomb Shades instead.

Woven natural fiber shades filter and soften light beautifully but are not lightproof by themselves. However, EaseEase bamboo and roman shades can be ordered with a blackout liner, which significantly increases light blocking. Check the fabric/liner selector on each product page for the blackout option. Without a liner, they are light-filtering and room-darkening, not true blackout.
