Shades can be inside or outside mounted. Considering the window frame depth is the first step.

- 3/8 inch headrail deduction taken at your actual measuring to ensure the side does not touch the edges tightly；
- Note there will be slight gaps on the sides due to fabric deductions.

How do Shangri-La Sheer Shades work?
You can adjust the fabric vanes to open or close by tilting them, just like blinds, while still enjoying the gentle diffusion of natural light through the sheers. They also raise and lower like traditional shades.

Yes. When the fabric vanes are closed, they provide excellent privacy without completely blocking out natural light.
How to measure for OUTSIDE MOUNT shades?
For window frame depths less than 2 “, Measure window width including mouldings and add 2”, Measure window height including mouldings and add 3"
When filling in the width for INSIDE MOUNT, do I need to subtract ⅜ inch?
Yes. If your window casing width is 50", you should order width 49-5/8".(deduct 3/8 inch by yourself)
If I want to have shade inside mounted, what is the minimum window depth?
It needs to be at least 3 inches
How do I clean Shangri-La Sheer Shades?
They are best cleaned with a gentle vacuum using a brush attachment or a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and water to maintain fabric quality.
Are there any drawbacks to Shangri-La Sheer Shades? Where are they not recommended?
Shangri-La sheer shades can easily trap dust and insects like mosquitoes, which sometimes require using a blow dryer to remove. Therefore, if you live in an area with many insects or have indoor plants nearby, EaseEase does not highly recommend installing them in those spaces.
