- Roman shades sit slightly away from the wall, so for blackout use in bedrooms, inside mount is recommended to reduce light gaps. Outside mount may cause light leakage.

Measure Width and Length Correctly
Shades can be inside or outside mounted. Considering the window frame depth is the first step.

- 3/8 inch headrail deduction taken at your actual measuring to ensure the side does not touch the edges tightly；
- Note there will be slight gaps on the sides due to fabric deductions.
