Yes — this is a genuine French linen fabric with a higher linen content than ordinary "linen-look" blends. The slubs and texture are real, not printed, which is what gives it that soft, naturally relaxed drape you can see and feel the moment it's hung.
Do linen curtains wrinkle a lot?
Natural linen has a relaxed, textured character — soft creases and slubs are part of its charm, not a flaw. Our French linen is woven to hold its shape wash after wash, so it settles into a beautiful natural fall rather than looking crumpled. If you prefer a crisper look, steam lightly after hanging.
Are these light-filtering or blackout?
On their own they are light-filtering: they soften daylight and give more presence and sun protection than a sheer, while keeping the room airy. For a bedroom, add a blackout lining at checkout to turn them into full room-darkening curtains — the natural linen look outside, complete light control inside.
How much privacy do they give?
Unlined linen gives good daytime privacy while still letting soft light through. At night with interior lights on, add a lining for full privacy — the blackout lining option gives the most coverage.
What colors do they come in?
Fourteen calm, considered shades. Ivory White is the safe, works-everywhere choice; Pink is a restrained grown-up blush; Light Haze Blue is quiet and slightly hazy; Light Gray-Green sits between the two and stops people in person. Order free swatches to see them in your own light.
What header style should I choose?

How do I wash and care for them?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to air-dry; avoid hot water and tumble drying, which can shrink natural linen. The fabric holds its shape wash after wash. Steam or iron on a linen setting if you want a smoother finish.
How do I measure and how much fullness do I need?
These are custom-made to your window. For pleated styles we use about 2x fullness, so for a 100" rod you'd typically order two 50" panels. Use our measurement tool for exact width and drop, and remember to account for stack-back so the open curtains clear the glass.
