Measure Width and Length Correctly

Shades can be inside or outside mounted. Considering the window frame depth is the first step.

    • A clean, built-in look, 2 1/2 inches minimum depth requirement；
    • 3/8 inch headrail deduction taken at your actual measuring to ensure the side does not touch the edges tightly；
    • Note there will be slight gaps on the sides due to fabric deductions.
    • No minimum depth requirement.
    • We recommend ordering additional width 4-6 inches to prevent light gaps on the sides of your window.

How much does the shade stack when raised?

When fully raised the fabric stacks into a neat band at the top, and taller shades stack a bit higher. Keep this in mind if you want the maximum open view.

Do the blackout ones fully darken a room?

The blackout lining blocks light through the fabric, but roman shades sit slightly forward of the glass so a little light can enter at the edges. Inside mount or side curtains give the darkest result.

How do I clean striped roman shades?

Dust or vacuum gently and spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth. Do not machine wash or dry clean.
