Custom honeycomb cellular shades built for arched, triangular, and other specialty-shape windows. Made to measure to any angle, curve, or size — no standard shapes, no size limits. Send us the exact geometry of your window and we cut the shade to fit it precisely.

Specialty windows — half-round arches, triangles, trapezoids, angle-tops, and quarter-circles — are the ones standard blinds can't cover. The honeycomb structure adds insulation and light control while the custom cut follows your window's exact shape. See real installs, sizing, and how to measure in our guide to triangle window shades and our guide to arched & odd-shaped windows.

  • Made to measure to your exact angles, radius, and dimensions — up to 118" wide as a single panel
  • Honeycomb structure: insulation, light control, and daytime privacy
  • Available in 15 colors, in light-filtering and blackout fabrics

Before you order — honest fit notes:

  • For an accurate fit, send the exact angles and radius (or a paper template). We custom-cut to your measurements — please don't make your own deductions.
  • 100% blackout is hard on angled shapes: small light gaps at the points or along the curve are normal; seal with strips if you need full darkness.

Best For: Arched, triangular, semicircular, and other specialty-shape windows — gable ends, feature windows, and architectural glazing that standard blinds cannot fit. For overhead skylights and roof windows, see our Skylight Blinds.

Specialty Shapes We Cover

Half-round, eyebrow, quarter-round, Palladian, gable, and sunburst shapes — custom-cut honeycomb for the windows standard blinds can’t fit.

Window Shape What It Looks Like Operable Option?
Full arch / half-round Semicircle top, often over a Palladian or picture window Usually stationary
Eyebrow / quarter-round A shallow curve or a quarter-circle corner Stationary
Triangle / gable Right or equilateral triangle in an A-frame or gable end Stationary; some shapes operable
Trapezoid / angle-top One or two slanted top edges (raked windows) Can be built operable or top-down
Pentagon / other Multi-sided or fully custom geometry Custom-cut, usually stationary

Honeycomb vs Other Specialty-Window Options

Option Fits Curves & Angles Insulation Light Options
Custom Honeycomb (ours) Any arch, triangle, trapezoid, or angle-top High — cells trap air for energy efficiency Light-filtering or blackout, 15 colors
Faux-wood / wood arch Fan & sunburst arches only Low Fixed louvers, no blackout
Plantation shutters Fan & eyebrow arches Medium Adjustable louvers, highest cost

Which Setup Should You Choose?

Looks + energy savings

Stationary Light-Filtering Honeycomb

If you mainly want a clean, built-in look with a softer glow and better insulation, choose a fixed light-filtering shade. Most arches and triangles are stationary — the honeycomb adds energy efficiency while following your window’s exact shape.

Bedroom / media room

Blackout Fabric + Seal the Gaps

Need darkness on an angled window? Pick a blackout fabric, then seal the points and curve edges with strips. The fabric blocks the light; sealing the edges is what gets you close to 100%.

Trapezoid / angle-top

Ask About an Operable Build

Want to raise and lower it? Trapezoids and angle-tops can often be built operable or top-down. Send us your exact angles and radius (or a paper template) and we’ll confirm what your shape allows.

Good to know: We custom-cut to your measurements — please don’t make your own deductions. Single panels go up to 118" wide. For overhead skylights and roof windows, see our Skylight Blinds.

Measure Width and Length Correctly

  • The windows depth requirement for Manual Lift is 1 1/4 inches, and for Motorization is 2 1/2 inches;
  • Headrail width = windows casing width;
  • Ordered height = windows casing height;
  • Please do not make your own deductions. We will do that for you.

Motorization Details

  • Supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice control, plus app and remote control.
  • All side tracks, headrail, bottom rail, and hardware will be white.
  • Inside mount only.
  • Max width: 118"
  • Motorized remote control lift option operates up to 15 shades at the same time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are arched and triangle window shades?

Custom honeycomb cellular shades cut to the exact shape of arched, triangular, semicircular, and other specialty windows that standard blinds cannot fit.

Can you make a shade for any window shape?

Yes. We custom-cut to arches, triangles, trapezoids, angle-tops, quarter-circles, and other geometries from your measurements or a paper template.

Do triangle and arched shades move up and down?

Most triangular and full-arch shades are stationary (fixed) for a clean look and insulation; some shapes offer an operable option, so ask us about yours.

How do I measure a specialty-shape window?

Send the exact width, height, angles, and radius, or a paper template. We custom-cut to fit, so please do not make your own deductions.

Do they insulate?

Yes, the honeycomb structure traps air for insulation and light control on specialty-shape windows.

Can I get full blackout on an arched or triangle window?

The blackout fabric blocks light, but small gaps at the points or along the curve are normal; seal the edges for full darkness.

What colors and opacities are available?

15 colors, in both light-filtering and blackout fabrics.

Which windows are these best for?

Arched, triangular, semicircular, and other specialty-shape windows including gable ends, feature windows, and architectural glazing.
