I ordered this shade for our large picture window in the living room. Our window is about 92 inches wide so I struggled finding a custom shade that was somewhat affordable. Instillation was a bit tricky but it would have been better if I wasn’t doing it myself. Definitely a 2 person job! Overall great shade!

It took me and my husband about 30 minutes, only because we aren't the best at measuring things. I think it would take a handy person more like 10 minutes.

Measure Width and Length Correctly
Shades can be inside or outside mounted. Considering the window frame depth is the first step.

- 3/8 inch headrail deduction taken at your actual measuring to ensure the side does not touch the edges tightly；
- Note there will be slight gaps on the sides due to fabric deductions.

For window frame depths less than 2 “, Measure window width including mouldings and add 2”, Measure window height including mouldings and add 3"
When filling in the width for INSIDE MOUNT, do I need to subtract ⅜ inch?
Yes. If your window casing width is 50", you should order width 49-5/8".(deduct 3/8 inch by yourself)
If I want to have shade inside mounted, what is the minimum window depth?
For roller blinds, window depths should be at least 2 inches.
