We spent a long time looking for the right stripe for our gray striped roman shades. We wanted a pattern with enough presence to give a window character, but enough breathing room to feel relaxed. In this 100% linen fabric, we finally found the balance: the stripe widths, scale, and spacing feel just right—quietly distinctive, without taking over the room.

What we love most is how well the pattern works across different window proportions. Even on a short wide window or tall narrow one, it feels balanced and easy. These gray striped roman shades bring together the rhythm of stripes and the natural texture of pure linen, with a softness that makes a room feel lived in.

Then there is our favorite detail: the sweet little wave along the bottom. That gentle curve remains even when the shade is fully lowered, so you can enjoy its shape throughout the day. It gives the shade a playful finish that we find especially charming.

Custom-made to your window dimensions, our gray striped roman shades filter daylight while providing full privacy. They are the ones we would choose when a room needs a little pattern, beautiful texture, and an effortless sense of ease.

Measure Width and Length Correctly

Shades can be inside or outside mounted. Considering the window frame depth is the first step.

    • A clean, built-in look, 2 inches minimum depth requirement；
    • 3/8 inch headrail deduction taken at your actual measuring to ensure the side does not touch the edges tightly；
    • Note there will be slight gaps on the sides due to fabric deductions.
    • No minimum depth requirement.
    • We recommend ordering additional width 4-6 inches to prevent light gaps on the sides of your window.

Stack Height

The stack height will vary slightly based on the size of the Roman blinds as well as the fold type. The stack height will vary from 8 inches to 13 inches, with taller shades having a larger stack height.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are EaseEase gray striped Roman shades made of, and what is the fabric weight?

EaseEase gray striped Roman shades are made from 100% pure linen with a fabric weight of 190 GSM (190 grams per square meter). The gray stripe pattern and natural linen texture are combined with soft Roman folds.

What makes the stripe pattern suitable for different window proportions?

The stripe widths, scale, and spacing on EaseEase gray striped Roman shades were selected for a balanced, relaxed appearance. The pattern suits both short, wide windows and tall, narrow windows. Each shade is custom-made to the ordered dimensions.

Does the wave along the bottom remain when the Roman shade is fully lowered?

Yes. EaseEase gray striped Roman shades retain their gently curved, wave-shaped bottom even when fully lowered. The decorative wave is a permanent design feature, rather than a shape that appears only when the fabric is raised.

Do gray striped Roman shades provide privacy, and are they blackout?

EaseEase gray striped Roman shades filter daylight and provide full privacy, with no visibility through the lowered fabric. These shades are light filtering, not blackout: blocking the view through the fabric does not mean blocking all incoming light.

How do the gray striped Roman shades operate and fold when raised?

EaseEase gray striped Roman shades use a corded lift to raise or lower the fabric. The soft Roman folds gather at the top when raised, and stack height varies with the shade's drop. The curved bottom remains part of the design when the shade is fully lowered.

Can gray striped Roman shades be custom-sized for wide or tall windows?

EaseEase gray striped Roman shades are custom-made to the ordered width and drop, with inside- and outside-mount options. The balanced stripe pattern suits wide and tall window proportions. Check the available size options and measurement guide before placing a custom order.

What window depth is required for inside-mount gray striped Roman shades?

Inside-mount EaseEase gray striped Roman shades require a minimum window depth of 2 inches (5.08 cm). Outside mount is also available. Follow the measurement guide for the chosen mounting method when specifying the finished shade dimensions.

How do I clean and care for the 100% linen Roman shades?

Dust EaseEase gray striped Roman shades regularly or gently vacuum on low suction. Spot-clean marks with a barely damp cloth; do not soak, machine wash, or dry clean the assembled shade. Pure linen has a naturally creased texture; prolonged sunlight may cause fading or fiber damage, and slight fiber shedding may occur.
