I did a lot of research, and although Shangri-La shades can be tricky to clean if bugs get inside, their beauty is just unbeatable. I really, really love them! The final look exceeded my expectations, and the gaps are pretty small, totally acceptable.

I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. The shades/blinds arrived exactly as ordered. Installation was straightforward. We have a south-facing window that lets in too much light on our sofa and living room throughout the day. We needed something that would keep the room bright and well-lit while blocking the direct sunlight so we could sit comfortably on our sofa during the afternoon. At night, with the lights on indoors, you can't see inside from outside, which provides excellent privacy protection.
