For best results, we also recommend allowing proper fullness so the fabric has enough weight and structure to hang smoothly.

Not at all. Our linen or cotton fabrics can achieve a soft, natural drape when constructed with the right fullness. The key is not the thickness of the fabric alone, but how much fabric is used in the design.

With proper fullness, lightweight fabrics actually create an airy, relaxed café look rather than appearing stiff.

Café curtains can be used on narrow windows, but they generally look better on medium to wider windows. On very narrow windows, pleated styles may appear less full, which can reduce the decorative effect.

For narrow spaces, we recommend increasing fullness or considering a slightly wider rod extension so the pleats have room to spread naturally. This helps maintain a balanced and premium look.

For café curtains, we typically use 2.5x–3x fullness depending on window size and fabric type.

For smaller windows, we intentionally increase fullness to ensure a richer pleated look. This means:

• More fabric is used at no extra charge
• Each side maintains at least 5+ pleats minimum for a balanced appearance
• The final result looks fuller, softer, and more premium

This extra fullness is included to make sure your café curtains look beautiful in real home settings, not just flat on a chart.
