Do No-Drill Blinds Actually Hold?

Yes — if your surface is smooth. EaseEase no-drill blinds use a precision tension bracket system rated for widths up to 70 inches (most no-drill systems max out at 46"). Once tensioned with the included hex key, panels won't pull off — and the detachable cover hides the bracket completely for a built-in look. All cordless, all custom-width, from $108.

Good to Know Before You Order

No-drill blinds only work on the right surfaces:
  • Rough, textured, or porous surfaces won't hold — brick, stucco, rough plaster, and heavily textured paint don't provide enough contact for the tension bracket. If your window frame is any of these, no-drill is not the right solution.
  • Minimum frame depth required — the tension bracket needs at least 1.5" of inside-mount depth to seat properly. Measure your window frame before ordering.
  • Cafe curtains in this collection work differently — they use a spring tension rod (not the adhesive/bracket system). They're a no-drill option for rod-pocket curtains, not the same mounting as the shades.
  • Maximum width is 70" — windows wider than 70" need a drilled rod or track solution. For those, see our Curtain Rods & Tracks.

What surfaces do no-drill blinds work on?

They work on smooth, non-porous surfaces: smooth glazed tile, glass, smooth PVC or vinyl window trim, smooth painted drywall, and smooth aluminum frames. They do NOT work on rough plaster, brick, stucco, or heavily textured surfaces — the tension bracket requires firm, flat contact to hold.

Are EaseEase no-drill blinds safe for children?

Yes — all no-drill shades in this collection are cordless, eliminating the cord strangulation hazard. The mounting bracket system is also fully concealed by a detachable cover once installed.

Can I use no-drill blinds on glass doors?
